Today You Need to:
1. NO LIVE SESSION TODAY
2. Continue working in IXL for ELA. You will need to complete the diagnostic test (in ELA) in order for IXL to place you at the correct level for questions. You will need to work on the diagnostic test for at least 45 minutes in order to be placed. We will break this down over 3 days.
Tuesday- 15 minutes in IXL.
Wednesday- 15 minutes in IXL
Thursday- 15 minutes in IXL.

4. Read the passage and answer the questions below.
Unit Goal:
- Students read literary and informational texts to understand the class system of the Middle Ages through the fictional tale of two unlikely friends, Price Brat and his whipping boy. Students express their understanding by synthesizing the knowledge they gained about the history of the Middle Ages to study how the actions and changes in characters affect the events in a text and the development of a theme.
Objectives:
- Build knowledge of the Middle Ages through research.
- Read, discuss, and write about texts.
- Write a response that analyzes events and characteristics to determine the theme of this novel.
