Unit Goal:
- Students read literary and informational texts to understand the class system of the Middle Ages through the fictional tale of two unlikely friends, Price Brat and his whipping boy. Students express their understanding by synthesizing the knowledge they gained about the history of the Middle Ages to study how the actions and changes in characters affect the events in a text and the development of a theme.
Objectives:
- Build knowledge of the Middle Ages through research.
- Read, discuss, and write about texts.
- Write a response that analyzes events and characteristics to determine the theme of this novel.
- Don't miss Live Sessions so that you can successfully meet these objectives.
