Unit Goal:

  • Students read literary and informational texts to understand the class system of the Middle Ages through the fictional tale of two unlikely friends, Price Brat and his whipping boy. Objectives:

  • Build knowledge of the Middle Ages through research.
  • Read, discuss, and write about texts.
  • Write a response that analyzes events and characteristics to determine the theme of this novel.
